1. You will be presented with a top and bottom formatting box.

In the top box you can choose the features for your new ePortfolio by clicking on the check boxes. Your choices of featurs are:
In this box you can choose to present up to three personal or design images (a small picture of yourself, images related to to graphic theme's design). NOTE: you must upload these image to your Artifact Library first to make them available in the drop menu list. Just hold your mouse down on the drop menu to see all your artifacts and then choose the image you want. Let go of your mouse and click anywhere on the page. The new image will appear.
2. The Layout Perameters Box
Parameters in the white box called, "Layout Parameters" will be applied to all pages in the portfolio (with the exception of the standard summary page which uses fixed colors). These layout parameters may be different for
different portfolios.

The background may be either a solid colour or an image. Colours may be one of: Aqua, Black, Blue, Fuchsia, Gray, Green, Lime, Maroon, Navy, Olive, Purple, Red, Silver, Teal, White, Yellow. Alternatively, any colour may be specified by a six digit number. This number is composed of three two digit numbers. The first two digit number is the amount of red; the second the amount of green; and the third, the amount of blue that will be mixed together. These two digit number are "hexadecimal numbers" which means that they use "a", "b", "c", "d", "e" and "f" as extra digits. Thus, the smallest two digit hexadecimal number is "00" and the largest is "ff". "99" is one number smaller than "a0".
If an image is chosen for the background, then the image will override the choice of background colour. Any image in the image gallery or the user's artifact library is available as a background image. This image will be "tiled" (repeated horizontally and vertically) if it is smaller than the size of the browser window. Good background images are not too "busy" and will be predominantly one color so that a contrasting colour can be chosen for the text and links. A high-contrast, multicoloured background image will render text unreadable, no matter what colour is chosen for the text.
Colours of text and links can be set in the same way as the background colour.
An image may be displayed as a banner across the top of every page. A low, wide image works best as a banner. The last choice (No Banner) will remove the banner image from all pages.
If the "Horizontal Rule" box is checked and a contrasting colour specified, then a prominant horizonal line will be displayed above and below the content of every page.
The background and text colours of the standards menu can be selected independently of the background and link colours of the rest of the page.
The standards menu (the Table of Contents) can be placed on either side or at the top or bottom of the content section of the pages by clicking one of the radio buttons. The top and bottom edges will only be suitable for short tables of contents.
The position of the navigation bar (which always contains "Portfolio Home" as well as other optional choices) can be positioned at one of the edges of the page.
NOTE: This theme will apply only to this new portfolio you have created.
