There is a drop menu under every image that can be changed in the graphic theme. There is a default image there to start off, just to hold the place.

If you click the drop menu under the image you will find a short list of default images PLUS the names of any images you have already registered in your Artifact Library.

1. Hold your mouse on the image drop menu until you see all the available images.
2. Drag the mouse until the image you would like to use is highlighted.
3. Release the mouse.
4. Click anywhere on the screen to save the changes.
If the image you want to use is one of your own you will have to choose the "Artifact Library" button at the top of the screen and follow the instructions for transferring and registering new artifacts. In this case you will be uploading "Images"

Note: All images to be used directly in a graphic theme must be 500 X 370 pixels in size. See the tutorial regarding the download and use of LoadReady (a small application for automatically re-sizing images). This small utility provided free of charge by Chalk & Wire will ensure you images are the correct size. This utility works only on computers running Windows. Download and install LoadReady now.
If you have an Apple Macintosh, use graphics manipulation software to re-size the images to the required dimensions.
What if you have no personal images to use as substitutes in your portfolios?
This is not a problem. Chalk & Wire provides you with an Image Gallery of "stock images". Your institution can also set up and maintain their own image galleries.
1. Choose the "Image Gallery " button at the top of the screen.

2. Once the gallery of images loads, just put a check mark in the boxes beside any images you'd like to include in your drop menu. Note: you can preview a larger version of each image by clicking directly on it.

3. Click the " Update" button
4. Click the "Return" button at the bottom of the page. This will take you back to the list of editable portfolios.
