Adding File Links to a New Artifact Presentation Page

Given the new blank form for your new artifact presentation page, you would:

1. Decide what files you want to connect to this page using the drop menu that appears on the left-hand side of the page. You can choose from sounds, images, video and documents (HTML and Pdf ). You can add as many links as you like.

2. Drag your mouse down the drop menu until the file you'd like to use is highlighted and then let go of the mouse. Caution: When you uploaded and registered your artifacts into your Artifact Repository, it is important that you name each file with a title that you will actually want to appear in your ePortfolio. If you do not like the name you used, return to your artifact library, delete the file and upload it again, giving it a better name.

3. Go ahead and make the file selections for your presentation page one at a time.

4. After you've made a selection from the drop menu, click anywhere on the screen (other than the drop menu), and it will auto-save the change, and refresh the screen. The same applies to what you might type into any editable field when editing this ePortfolio page. Type what you want, click outside of the form box, and the screen will automatically update.

Note that the check boxes to the left of each artifact can be unchecked to remove one or more files from the list of links for the page when it is published. Again, click anywhere on the screen, and it will auto-save the change, and refresh the screen.
