Users Page: Reset PasswordYou can reset one person's password from the Users page (multiple passwords can be reset in another way).
First, search for the person. The easiest way to do this is to enter a name in the Keyword box and click Show. If you can't find a person's name by using the keyword box, try shorting what you type in to only part of their name. Alternately, check one of the Privilege Levels boxes (such as Student or Assessor) to see all users of that type. If you search for a name with one of these boxes checked, only accounts matching the name AND the account type will be listed. When their name shows up in the list, as in the above image, click Edit under the Actions column to edit their details:
You can now change their password, optionally requiring that they change it themselves the next time they log in. There are more details on the Edit User dialog. |
