Commenting on Student Work
There are multiple ways to for an assessor to comment on student work.
- Basic Portfolio Paragraph Commenting: Add basic comments using the non-javascript commenting feature.
- Enhanced Portfolio Paragraph Commenting: During assessment you may choose to use the enhanced
portfolio paragraph commenting feature for each submission that you assess. Keep in mind that
you must have javascript enabled on your computer to use this feature. However, any comments that you make
can be read by any computer text reader, so no student using assistive technologies will
be negatively affected by your use of this tool.
- Rubric Comments: There is an option to comment on student work as it relates to a particular rubric criterion.

directly into the rubric during assessment.
- Shared Portfolio Commenting: (viewable by Share Group) Comments made on a shared portfolio can be optionally
made available to be viewed by everyone in the share group.
