Library Page: Manage Library Page

How to manage an entry in a library page, including: Adding, deleting, re-naming, viewing, sharing, and changing where it's stored.

From the main library tab, click Edit (shown below) next to the library page that the entries you are interested in are grouped under.

 

You will see the following listing of screen views you have copied and filed by page in your library:

 

Actions for each entry:

  Action Description
Edit Change the title label of the entry, or change it's internet address.
Delete Gives a student-by-student breakdown of the results of each rubric

 

Here you can:

  • Add a new entry- The Add Entry link at the bottom of the page saves links to work samples with the permission of portfolio authors. You can also save any URL (Internet Address, ie. www.myaddress.com/mypage) that you wish to keep a record of in the current library page

     

  • Rename an entry, or change where it's stored- Clicking the Edit icon next to each entry gives you the following screen, where it is possible to change either the name or the Internet address (URL) that tells ePortfolio where the entry is held.

     

  • Delete Entry- You can remove an entry from the library page by clicking the Delete icon.
  • View Entry- Click on the URL link listed between the label and the actions for each library entry.
  • External URL- Give public access to view all entries in this library page by sharing the external URL listed at the bottom of the page. This link, when pasted into the address bar of a browser, will give people the ability to view all the links listed in this library page.
