ePortfolio for Administrators

Overview

Welcome to Chalk & Wire's ePortfolio! The links on the navigation panel to the right will help you with the administrator options available in your Chalk & Wire ePortfolio.

The help links listed here under the 'ePortfolio Pages' heading refer to the tabs along the top of your screen when you are logged in to your ePortfolio administrator account. The help links listed here under the 'Management Pages' and 'Administrator Pages' headings are the options available in the 'Admin' drop-down menu when you are logged in to your ePortfolio administrator account.

As an administrator, you'll need to know about these three different zones that make up your ePortfolio system.

As you focus on different aspects of using your assessment system, you'll find yourself in these three areas outlined below.

  1. ePortfolio Pages- These four pages are the same as what students see when they use their portfolios. Here they can upload and manage their files, create and submit portfolios, and check their results.
  2. Management Pages- This is where the bulk of your controls are. Here you can set up the system, monitor and report progress, and assess work that is sent to you.
  3. Administration Pages- You can use these pages to create and manage accounts, edit site setting options, and keep people informed of new events and information.

This help system is organized so that each of the above three sections has a home page telling you about that part of the program, and suggesting help related topics. The ePortfolio pages relevant to that section are listed on the right of the three home pages.
