
How to organize files in your artifact library, including: Add Folder,
Move Artifact or Folder
Adding a Folder
In order to keep track of artifacts in your library, you may have to create
folders to store them in. The folders could be arranged by the type of file
they hold (video files, text files, etc), by course, by submission month,
or whatever you want.
To create a new folder, click Add Folder :

Once you have given a name, the folder will then be created in whatever
folder you were in when you clicked the Add Folder link. To add a sub-directory
such as in the example below, you would (1) click the Powerpoint directory
to select it, (2) Add Folder, and (3) Create your new folder. Click Artifact
Library to go back to the top level.

Moving a folder of artifact
You can control the order artifacts are displayed within a folder, or move
a folder or artifact into an entirely different folder. None of these commands
has any effect on your ability to display an artifact in your portfolio-
Move commands just make it easier to find what you want to in the Artifact
Library.
To change the order that folders and their artifacts are shown in, click
the appropriate button next to the artifact or folder, as shown below:

By choosing the Move icon (see below), you can move a file or folder into
another folder entirely.
