Students with Work for Assessment - these are pending assessments. Click the name of the student to assess, choose a submission, and click 'Assess'. You may use regular assessment, express assessment, manual assessment, or you may import scores from a spreadsheet.

Students Assessed - the assessments you have completed within the time horizon that you set on the 'Options' tab. Click the name of the student to access their 'Student Results' page. You can re-assess or view their work submission and any comments you made during assessment.

The ‘Assessment Options’ also allow you to select the action that will occur at the end of an assessment.[7]

Choose the action you prefer and click ‘Save.’

If you choose ‘Assess next submission,’ upon completion of an assessment you will be taken to the next assessment for work submitted by the same student.

If you choose ‘List assessments for student,’ upon completion of an assessment you will be returned to the ‘Student Results’ page. Here you can view results for completed assessments as well as view pending assessments for that student.

If you choose ‘List assessment for assessment instrument,’ upon completion of an assessment you will be returned to the ‘Assessments for Rubric’ page. Here you can view your assessments for the same rubric.

If you choose ‘Return to ‘My Assessments’ page,’ upon completion of an assessment you will be returned to the ‘My Assessments’ page.

You can also filter the number of student names that appear on your ‘My Assessments’ screen by choosing a ‘past assessment horizon’ on the ‘Options’ page. This will filter out the students you have assessed beyond the selected assessment horizon and will prevent their names from appearing under the ‘Students Assessed Within the Last __ Days’ heading.

Use the drop down menu to select your past assessment horizon and click ‘Save.’
