Linking Standards to Rubrics

Creating standards-rubrics links from the Standards section- You may begin in the Standards section to create links between Standard sections, rubrics, and TOCs. (You may also begin on the 'Edit Assessment Instrument' screen. See "")

Choose the ‘Standards’ option from the admin drop-down menu. Click the ‘Add New Section’, name the Standard section, and provide a brief description. Choose the rubric to link to the Standard section from the ‘Rubrics Available’ and transfer the rubric(s) to the right column using the transfer arrows. Click the 'Save' button.

The next screen provides a list of the Scoring Criteria for each rubric selected. To ensure the accuracy of scores, you should have each criterion linked to only one Standard.

Standards links can be viewed from the 'View Assessment Instruments Linkages' link on the 'Edit Assessment Instrument' screen, or under the 'Standards Links' heading on the 'View Assessment Instrument' screen.

Standard links to Table of Contents - Table of Contents pages are automatically linked to the Standards of linked rubrics.
