Archiving rubrics

As you continue to develop and revise rubrics, you may on occasion want to ‘hide’ a rubric, so that it will not be used in new assessments. The ‘Archive’ function can essentially accomplish this by removing the rubric from ‘circulation’. Archived rubrics are no longer visible as an option on any of the drop-down lists, such as for linking to TOCs, standards, manual assessment, escalation, or pegging schemes.

To Archive a rubric – First, unlink the rubric from any TOC that it has been linked to. (Do not remove the links to Standards, as you will want to retain legacy data for reporting.) Return to the ‘Rubrics’ screen, locate the rubric of interest, and click the [Archive] link in the ‘Actions’ column. To view archived rubrics, mark the ‘Include Archived’ checkbox in the Search section of the 'Assessment Instruments' screen. [1]

Search for archived rubrics by department, type, regime, and name.
